Overview
A public event to learn about and honour the leadership of Omàmìwininì (Algonquin) Chief Shawinipinessi and the official dedication of the plaque in his honour.
Details
The event will include an opening ceremony with the Lanark Drum Circle and stories of the efforts made by Chief Shawinipinessi as told by his descendants. A light lunch will be provided by The Table Community Food Centre.
