The Mission Statement of the Anglican Diocese of Calgary is "to proclaim the love of God in Jesus Christ as Risen Lord, to embody in our lives the good news we have experienced in him, to offer joy and hope, and to engage one another and those around us in fulfilling Christ's mission in worship and service through the power of the Holy Spirit."
About THE SYNOD OF THE DIOCESE OF CALGARY
The Synod of the Diocese of Calgary (also known as The Anglican Diocese of Calgary) consists of approximately 75 Anglican congregations in southern Alberta (from just north of Red Deer). The Diocese was incorporated under a private ordinance of incorporation in 1891. The Diocesan Office, which includes the Bishop, provides administrative, pastoral, liturgical, and ecclesiastical oversight and support for the congregations of the Diocese.
