About PROPAGATION OF THE FAITH AND ST. PETER THE APOSTLE
The Society for the Propagation of the Faith is part of the Pontifical Mission Societies, a Catholic missionary organization. It funds the needs of the missionary Church by providing financial assistance to new dioceses and parishes. It provides training to Catechists, provides centers for lay formation and pastoral work. This Society also provides relief for the poor, the hungry and the suffering.
The Society of St. Peter the Apostle is another charity of the Pontifical Mission Societies that provides for the education and formation of priests in mission countries for their local church and new dioceses. It helps root the Church within the local cultures of people.
