As you may already know, 2 tornadoes touched down in Ottawa on Friday, September 21, 2018. The Bethany Hope Centre (BHC), like many in the Ottawa area were without power for the entire weekend. Sadly, BHC's Food Bank lost everything in its fridges and freezers. More importantly, many already vulnerable, young families have lost food and have little or no resources to replace them.
BHC's fridges and freezers and are now cleaned out and ready to be filled - so in turn we can support the young families who access our services to replace some of the items they lost to feed their families.
