Rotary Club of Toronto West is a vibrant and growing club of tightly connected, passionate community leaders who change lives every day.
The Rotary Club of Toronto West is a member club of Rotary International and part of District 7070, an organization of people, united worldwide, providing humanitarian service, encouraging ethical standards and helping build goodwill and peace in the world. This is exemplified in Rotary's official motto: "Service Above Self".
Our club has a very rich history, with the original charter dating back to 1955. Our membership is a cross section of the business and professional communities. Within our club, as throughout Rotary International, race, nationality, sex, religion or politics do not influence the criteria for membership.
We believe in strong fellowship, principally through our weekly meetings, where we explore and discuss a broad range of interesting topics, as well as through committee participation which helps to foster deeper friendships, mutual respect and understanding.
We provide opportunities for participation and fulfillment through a variety of events and fund-raising activities. We work within our community, contributing our efforts, experience and the funds that we raise to worthy causes. We also support selected projects in Canada and abroad.
Prior to 2020, we met weekly at The Montgomery's Inn, a historic museum in Etobicoke, located in west Toronto. Currently, we meet online in a Zoom session. We always welcome visitors and guests to enjoy a complimentary breakfast on Thursdays at the Montgomery's Inn. Check our calendar and come to hear our interesting speakers present on a wide variety of topics.
Email us at info@rotarytorontowest.ca if you would like information about how to attend meeting and visit rotarytorontowest.ca for more information about our projects and other activities.
