The Reading Partnership (TRP) works with local partners and parents to promote and improve literacy in the communities that need it the most. 

We know that improving literacy leads to greater academic achievement and outcomes in personal/community health, employability, safety and community connectedness. That’s why we create and deliver literacy-focused programs and resources that empower children in the early years, and their families, to be successful at all stages of life.  

Established in 2011, with a focus on the Kingston Galloway/Orton Park community (KGO), we have worked tirelessly to improve the lives of thousands of vulnerable children and families. And while we are proud of the impact so far, there is so much more to do.

We have a vision that every child in every community receives the early support they need to learn to write and read so that they can reach their full potential and succeed in school, work and life.
