Overview
Our dogs can be our best friends and great companions, but living with our canine companions can come with it’s challenges when they exhibit unwanted behaviours. If you and your dog are struggling with behaviour concerns like leash reactivity, resource guarding, human-directed aggression, high levels of fear, anxiety, and stress in everyday situations, we can help. Meet with a certified trainer to help identify the cause for why your dog is exhibiting these behaviours and learn how you can work with your dog to manage these behaviours and teach your dog coping skills. We focus on teaching dog guardians how to read their dog and change their response to certain stimuli using methods based in positive reinforcement and science-based practices.
The behaviour consultation can be conducted either virtually over video call or in-person at our facility. During the consultation, the trainer will ask questions to get to know you and your dog better and then review some training exercises to start working on with your dog. After the consultation, the trainer will provide you with a written training plan to work through on your own with email support. During the follow-up sessions, the trainer will coach you through the training plan and intentional set ups.

Please note, that at this time, Behaviour Consultations will take place on Tuesdays between 2pm and 6:30pm. When you complete the purchase for this service, you will be prompted to select a date and time of your consultation.
You have the option to purchase just a consultation ($115), which will be about an hour in length. You can also purchase a package of a consultation and 1 follow up session ($200), or a consultation and 4 follow up sessions ($475).
Dogs who are coming into the facility for their consultation, must be up to date on their vaccines based on our vaccine standards. You will be required to provide proof of vaccination.
Your dog must be up to date on core vaccines appropriate for their age at least 7 days prior to your first in-person training session.
Puppies under 16 weeks of age must have at least their first dose of DAPP/DHPP.
Puppies must have received at least one round of dewormer.
Dogs 16 weeks and up must be up to date on DAPP/DHPP and Rabies.
