The Long, Long Night of Hope is a fundraising effort for Homelessness. Think about not having a warm, dry safe place to go at the end of the day. Far too many people face that every day - living on the streets or in their cars.
So, on February 24, 2018, I will be sleeping in my car to experience what hundreds of homeless Canadians experience every night. It is a small gesture, but I feel moved to do something. Can you help?
I am hoping my family and friends will support me and sponsor me for this night. I am grateful for any donation - $1, $10, $25 or any amount you can give.
However, please do not feel pressured to donate money. More importantly, will you keep me, this project and the issue of homelessness in your thoughts and prayers? Maybe we can all see other things we can do to become the Hope for the Homeless.
All funds raise will be donated to The Lookout Shelter, North Vancouver.
