Overview

During the 19th and 20th centuries the Scottish tartan began to be used in new ways in the British Isles. Join Karina Greenwood for a lively discussion that covers the use of the tartan by the Scottish suffragettes, Queen Victoria, and the Highland Regiments to better understand its journey as a gendered and imperial cloth.
