OAS offers workshops and art classes for youth and adults. Our COAP program is for Oakville groups who cannot access these services easily.
Originally founded by a group of professional artists in 1965, the Oakville Art Society is a unique non-profit institution. 2015 marked our 50th year.
Located in the picturesque village of Bronte, we provide the Oakville community with a wide variety of visual art programs. The OAS guides artists, both young and old, beginner to experienced, through the passionate path of art expression. Our building has a gallery and two painting studios, both with excellent lighting.
The Oakville Art Society also offers an Outreach Program to community members who are experiencing challenges. We have partnered with numerous local non-profit groups. Find out more by contacting the office.
The OAS is a member driven society governed by a working Board of Directors comprised of elected members. We rely on our volunteers to ensure our events and activities are successful.
Membership runs from September 1 to August 31.
