The Museum of Jewish Montreal (MJM) is an innovative place to connect with Montreal’s Jewish life & identity, share our diverse heritage, and create new cultural experiences.
Founded in 2010, the MJM seeks to ensure the legacy of Jewish life in Montreal by educating the public and giving our visitors new ways to interact with the city’s Jewish past and present.
In June 2016 the Museum moved into its first physical location in the heart of the Plateau Mont-Royal, and has developed into one of the world’s most innovative Jewish museums, changing Montreal’s cultural landscape and helping revitalize Jewish life in the city through interactive activities and original programming. This has encouraged many younger Jews to take ownership of the community’s history.
The Museum of Jewish Montreal is quickly becoming a hub for creative Jewish projects and is galvanizing closer connections between Montreal and its Jewish culture and identity.
The Museum is located at 5220 boul. St-Laurent, Montreal, QC H2T 1S1.
