About THE MINISTRY TO SEAFARERS OF THE CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH

The Ministry to Seafarers (M2S) is a chaplaincy dedicated to enhancing the lives of seafarers docking in the Port of Montreal.  

We visit seafarers aboard their ships on a daily basis, provide them with free transportation so they can have shore leave and assist them with their spiritual, emotional and practical needs. We also advocate for them when there are issues of injustice. 

We are located in the Montreal Seafarers' Centre where we work cooperatively with Mariners' House of Montreal and Stella Maris. The Seafarers' Centre is located at the cruise ship terminal and provides a home away from home for all seafarers. We sell SIM cards, offer free transportation, free Wi-Fi, leisure activities, drinks & snacks, souvenirs and toiletries.  

We are excited to be able to serve these wonderful people who work hard to bring 90% of the world's goods to each and every one of us.

"Spending of funds is confined to The Ministry to Seafarers of the CRC (M2S) approved programs and projects. Each contribution directed toward an approved program or project will be used as restricted with the understanding that when the need for such a program or project has been met, or cannot be completed for any reason as determined by M2S, the remaining restricted contributions will be used where most needed.”
