The Merrickville and District Historical Society is based in the Village of Merrickville-Wolford, a beautiful historic village spanning the Rideau Canal, between Smiths Falls and Kemptville, Ontario. The Society is mandated to encourage interest in the history and heritage of Merrickville-Wolford, to provide access to the Merrickville Blockhouse, and to make available the heritage and history of the area.
