The Interlake Community Foundation (also known as "the ICF" or the Foundation)provides the citizens of Rockwood, Rosser, Stonewall, Teulon and Woodlands with the opportunity to invest in the future of their community and region forever. The Foundation pools gifts in a capital fund that remains in perpetuity providing citizens with a means of permanently endowing their region and helping to shape its future. Your gift is never “spent” or “used up”. The income generated from the capital is distributed as grants to registered charities in the region.

Earnings are allocated to encourage and support charitable projects in the areas of:

Community Services - Arts and Culture - Education - Heritage and the Environment - Health and Medical Services - Recreation and Sports - Youth and Senior Programs

Organizations apply for grants to fund local projects. Having established broad and flexible criteria, the Foundation can support innovative activities that might not be funded in any other way. Deadline for applications is June 30th of each year. Successful applicants will be notified by September 30th.

We also have several Scholarship and Bursary funds. We can help you leave a legacy by administering your gifts to support local students.

Our volunteer Board is made up of local citizens who ensure our polices are followed. We have one part time Executive Director.
