To bring science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM) to life through fun and interactive learning experiences.
ABOUT THE DISCOVERY CENTRE
With more than 30 years of experience in hands-on learning across a wide range of fields, we empower our children and community members to experiment, take risks and better understand the world around us. Through our curriculum-connected education programs, community outreach activities, free access nights and hands-on, interactive exhibits, we reach more than 200,000 Nova Scotians annually.
We envision a Discovery Centre that is home to the world’s best travelling exhibits, community outreach programs and enhanced galleries that invite citizens of all ages to interact with the universe in ways they never imagined. And we want to do more to bring expanded, enriched programming to every student in every school across the province, creating a pipeline of STEAM-literate youth who will study and work right here at home.
