The Carden Alvar, a type of grassland habitat, is only found in a few areas around Ontario (and the world)!

This year, No Egretz will be counting as many animal species as possible in 24 hours on May 24/25.

Fundraising efforts will help The Couchiching Conservancy protect the Carden Alvar, designated as a Important Bird & Biodiversity Area (IBBA), and an Area of Natural and Scientific Interest. The Alvar contains globally rare alvar habitat and species, and is home to many species-at-risk!
