I'm so excited to be heading into my TENTH Carden Challenge, with my amazing team the Fauna Fanatics! Together we'll work to spot alllll the birds, butterflies, dragonflies, mammals and herps that the alvar has to offer over a 24 hour period in May! It's always such a special way and amazing time of year to experience the wonder of the Carden Alvar. I've had the pleasure of working alongside the Couchiching Conservancy for fifteen years to help protect this place and can't speak highly enough of their care and dedication to this globally rare landscape.
