The Canadian Council of the Blind, BC-Yukon Division is an organization run by the blind dedicated to providing leadership for the blind and partially sighted to achieve their full potential through guidance, education, resources, and public awareness.

*The CCB BC-Yukon Division is a non-profit organization registered federally with the Canada Revenue Agency and provincially as a Society in BC.
*The CCB BC-Yukon Division celebrated their 75th Anniversary in 2020.
*The CCB BC-Yukon Division offers a voice for blind, deaf-blind and partially sighted individuals - young and old - throughout BC; as well as providing education and resources for neighbours, family and friends; with the potential of benefiting every community within BC and the Yukon.
*The CCB BC-Yukon Division offers peer support and social recreational opportunities for the blind, deaf-blind and partially sighted.
*The CCB BC-Yukon Division provides advocacy and accessibility locally and provincially for the blind, deaf-blind and partially sighted.
*The CCB BC-Yukon Division facilitates public awareness and education at community events and open houses.
*The CCB BC-Yukon Division manages a website and Facebook page to facilitate the exchange and sharing of information for the blind, deaf-blind and partially sighted as well as for their families, friends and neighbours.
