This past October I was blessed to step into the role as Program Coordinator for this incredible organization. I have the privilege of witnessing directly the deep soulful and transformative connections participants experience when they come to retreat or participate in any of our programs. We often hear comments like "I never realized how much I needed this", "This has opened my eyes to parts of myself that I didn't even realize I was needing to love", or "This experience has completely changed my perspective and given me hope for being able to feel joy again".
Your support is vital to allowing Brooksong Retreat and Cancer Support Centre to continue providing these opportunities (FREE of charge to both the person living with cancer and their support person- and open to anyone across Canada to apply).
I too have witnessed family members and friends living and dying in their struggle. I wish every single person living with cancer could have an opportunity to come a retreat like this.
