Join us for Moving for Good: The Walk to End Chronic Homelessness on Sunday, September 22nd, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Hosted by the Lynn Macaulay Legacy Project (LMLP) in partnership with Supportive Housing of Waterloo (SHOW), this 2km walk aims to raise critical funds and awareness for those experiencing chronic homelessness in our community.
The walk will begin at Knox Presbyterian Church, located at 50 Erb St. W., Waterloo, ON. Participants will walk up Erb Street to SHOW's Senior Supportive Housing Building at 144 Erb St. E., and then return to Knox Church for light snacks and refreshments.
All funds raised from this event will directly support SHOW’s life skills programming and wrap-around supports, empowering residents—particularly older adults aged 60+—to regain their independence and live healthier, more stable lives.
Register today and help us make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need. Whether you walk, donate, or spread the word, your participation is invaluable in the fight to end chronic homelessness.
