About SUNSHINE COAST HOSPICE SOCIETY

The Sunshine Coast Hospice society is a community-based, volunteer charity that is committed to enhancing the quality of life for those facing a life-limiting illness, death, and bereavement, through skilled and compassionate support, education, and advocacy. We serve residents of the Lower Sunshine Coast, from Langdale to Egmont, including Gambier and Keats Islands.

Hospice volunteers are trained to provide support to individuals and families in our community, at no cost. For persons going through the grieving process we provide bereavement support as well. Our services are provided in the home, hospital or other locations, as required.

More than half of our funding comes from individuals in the community and several fundraising events are held annually. Your personal contributions have an immediate and lasting effect, so please donate today!

Charitable tax receipts are provided for donations of $20 or more.
