About SUNSHINE COAST FOUNDATION
The Foundation provides stable, sustainable support to charitable organizations on the Sunshine Coast. We create a way for individuals, families, businesses, and groups to pool charitable giving into a single Community Capital Fund that responds to the needs and concerns of the area’s residents from Port Mellon to Egmont.
In 2016, we were accredited by Imagine Canada, assuring donors that we follow the highest standards of governance, accountability, and transparency. In 2020, we changed our name from Sunshine Coast Community Foundation to Sunshine Coast Foundation, to minimize confusion with similarly-named groups.
The individuals who created endowments with the Foundation love knowing who has contributed to them. We would like to share your name with the creators of endowments that you support, but not the amount. If you do not wish us to share your name, please check the box to keep your donation anonymous.
