Beer and Pretzel Night- Brewing Hope at Rundle Park!

Join us for our annual Beer and Pretzel Night, taking place on April 27, 2024, at the Rundle Park Family Centre in Edmonton. This event will showcase a beer and pretzel pairing, silent auction, live entertainment, and more, all in support of two remarkable organizations: The Balinda Children’s Foundation and Sunrise of Life.

The Balinda Children’s Foundation supports orphaned and vulnerable children in Kyarusozi, Uganda by providing them with the healthcare, educational, livelihood and income generating support to help them achieve their full potential. They do this by supporting families with local solutions. For example, this past year one family in the village was provided with pigs and chickens and this livestock assists the family to bring in income and become self-sustainable. In addition, the organization supported the children of this family with their school fees and other lifesaving basic needs. 

Sunrise of Life supports the most vulnerable children and youth in Arusha Tanzania by providing them with food, shelter and education. They do this through a three-tiered approach, first through community outreach and empowerment, second by providing emergency and lifesaving shelter and education to the most vulnerable children, and third through providing vocational and college education to youth. Through this program Sunrise of Life and it’s partner organizations are able to empower local leaders in developing sustainable futures for the people of the region.
