Being part of Open Circle/CVC throughout my undergraduate years has been one of the most meaningful and rewarding experiences. From helping children with learning disabilities to connecting with elderly people who felt isolated during the pandemic, I’ve had the chance to make a real difference in people’s lives. But what made it even more special was doing it alongside peers who shared the same passion for giving back. Our reflections about what it means to serve and how we can keep making a difference after graduation have stayed with me. Open Circle/CVC didn’t just fuel my passion for volunteering—it shaped how I see my role in the world, and I know I’ll carry that with me wherever I go.
