Hi everyone,
My name is Tristan. Together with my co-facilitator, Janice, and our group of volunteers (Yun-Yi, James, and Victoria) we volunteer weekly with the Reading Rocks and Homework Helps programs with LDAHH (Learning Disabilities Association Of Halton Hamilton). Reading Rocks is a one-on-one reading intervention program aimed at supporting and motivating vulnerable youths with learning disabilities. We offer personalized lessons and help these children reach their literacy goals by equipping them with tools to support their learning experience. Homework Helps is a program aimed at supporting youths with various subjects. Our main task is to help with homework and reduce stress and anxiety for students.
