The Reading Rocks Group is carried out by the Learning Disabilities Association Halton-Hamilton region. Our Group works with children with learning disabilities like dyslexia and ADHD, and help create fun engaging activities to help improve their English literacy skills. We are involved in teaching literacy skills that will carry forward with these kids and hopefully prove, useful to them in the future. In addition to all of this, this group has helped the volunteers connect closer to the Hamilton community and see the needs of the community. All in all helping us further the community and gain valuable insight into the diverse people that populate it.
