Each and every one of us is constantly navigating through change--even when we're not caught in the middle of a worldwide pandemic.
Navigating through change is something that SOC has always promoted via their weekly volunteering programs, mindfulness group sessions, leadership development and more. SOC itself has navigated through these unusual times--for example, by developing new volunteer groups such as those writing letters to older adults who may be facing exacerbated loneliness in the present times.
Currently, I sit on the Board of Directors of SOC where I have the privilege of not only working "behind-the-scenes", but also hear about of all the amazing work our volunteers are doing.
