Join us on March 11th for BELIEVE: A Benefit Gala for STAND ASA in Partnership with A Woman a Day YYC. Let's come together and show survivors that we BELIEVE them. The gala will be held at the Deerfoot Inn & Casino and includes dinner, silent auction, live entertainment, and keynote speaker Canadian Olympic and Paralympic team sports therapist Stephanie Coughlan.

2 in 3 women in Alberta will experience sexual violence in their life. Whether you know it or not, someone you know has experienced sexual violence. Sexual violence doesn’t have an age limit which is why 1 in 2 girls experience it before the age of 18. It can happen to anyone.

Proceeds from this event will go directly support STAND ASA and allow us to continue supporting victims of sexual assault in Calgary, and the surrounding areas.

Against Sexual Assault Association believes that addressing the harm cause by sexual assault is both and individual and societal responsibility.S.T.A.N.D. ASA envisions a world free from victim shaming in which survivors can raise their voices and unite. A world where there is no stigma attached to sexual assault. The S.T.A.N.D. ASA is provideS peer support to survivors of sexual assault, prevents sexual violence through education and awareness and promotes healing through a variety of holistic healing workshops.
