St Michael the Archangel is a Catholic church in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada, and a parish of the Ukrainian-Greek Catholic Church in the Eparchy of New Westminster. We celebrate the Byzantine Rite, and are in full communion with the Bishop of Rome, the Pope.
In addition to providing a place of worship for local Catholics — whether they are multi-generational Ukrainian-Canadians, recent immigrants, visitors, or anyone interested in the Eastern expressions of Christian liturgical and spiritual practice —, we support the activities of our Eparchy, local cultural societies, and the worldwide Ukrainian-Greek Catholic Church.
