WHO ARE WE
St. Mark's Lutheran Church is a member congregation of the Manitoba-Northwestern Ontario Synod (MNO) of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada (ELCIC). Amongst our members, you will find single persons and young couples, families with small children or teenagers or both, and seniors, some of whom participate in the life of the congregation along with their grandchildren. We gather as the family of God and the body of Christ. People of all sexual orientations, gender identities, races, beliefs and abilities are welcome here. St. Mark's is located at the corner of Cambridge Street and Corydon Avenue in Winnipeg's River Heights neighbourhood. We publically recognize that the land our church occupies is on the traditional territory of the Anishnaabe, Cree, Objibway, Ininiwak, Anishininiwak, Dakota people, and the homeland of the Metis Nation. We strive to follow Christ’s example through a commitment to reconciliation and racial equity.
