Our Mission
The MISSION of St. Luke's Church is to provide a physical and spiritual base in which to worship God in the style and tradition of the Anglican Church, to administer and receive the Holy Sacraments, and to foster the extension of God's Kingdom through acts of Christian faith and love.
About St. Luke's Anglican Church, Winnipeg
St. Luke's church building is designated as a Manitoba Heritage building (#96). The stone exterior, bell tower, central aisle, rood screen and high altar are reminiscent of the finest pre-Reformation English country churches. Accompanied by a large pipe organ and choir, worship is solemn, and formal. Ministry to the inner-city neighbourhood in which the church is located includes a weekly drop-in and grocery program for street-people and low-income neighbours.
