About St. Andrew's Hespeler

Here at St. Andrew’s we feel it is important to serve not only our members, but the community that we call home, Hespeler, Cambridge. Several groups and agencies have found a home here.

Under the umbrella of Place of New Hope we host the Cambridge Food Bank for clients in the Hespeler area (or anywhere in Cambridge). Hope Clothing provides free clothing and some household items for all members of the family. The food bank sees around 50 families access their program every 2 weeks while Hope Clothing sees approximately 100 people per month.

We have begun serving lunch on the 2nd Thursday of the month. This is a free community lunch. About 25 people come to eat lunch with us.

Also under this umbrella you can find the A-A, Al-Anon and Al-Ateen groups here, meeting every Friday evening. The Hespeler Outreach worker from The House of Friendship connects with families here as well. We work closely with other organizations in the community so that people who have specific needs can find what they need easily. 

Being a part of our community is a vital aspect of our church.  Many groups find a home in our facilities; several Scouting groups; T.O.P.S.; Glimmer gymnastics club. We even have a Little Library that is popular in the village!
