About SPORT CENTRAL ASSOCIATION

Sport Central Association is an Alberta based Charity that was founded on December 6th, 1991.

We collect gently used sports equipment, refurbish & repair it, and then distribute it to kids ages 4-17 who may not otherwise have access or opportunity.

We serve kids from Red Deer, up to the northern border of Alberta.

We collect equipment for over 20 different sports and recreational activities and have 46 equipment donation locations. 

In addition to the kids we serve through our front door, we have a community outreach program which sends bulk shipments of equipment, locally and regionally, to communities, community leagues, and schools to help build sports related programming.

Last year’s impact (2023):

• 2,142 pieces of equipment repaired
• 1,956 helmets repaired
• 2,293 pairs of skates sharpened
• 2,241 bikes repaired
• 10,534 KIDS OUTFITTED WITH SPORTS EQUIPMENT

(48% increase in our services over the previous year)
