Spectrum is Waterloo Region’s first ever 2SLGBTQIA+/Rainbow community space!
Spectrum offers more than 40 different groups and activities each month, including: transgender peer support groups, games nights, Spectrum Prime for 2SLGBTQIA+ adults 50+, and Rainbow Newcomers Connect. We also offer resources including a lending library of books and movies, an online gender-neutral washroom map of our community, monthly calendars of 2SLGBTQIA+ events, and a resource directory of 2SLGBTQIA+ friendly businesses and organizations. In partnership with the OK2BME program at Camino Wellbeing + Mental Health we provide mental health counselling for 2SLGBTQIA+ adults. Finally, we offer education and training in 2SLGBTQIA+ cultural competency.

Spectrum is an organization that serves, affirms, and supports the well-being of 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals in Waterloo Region and the broader community through peer support, community partnerships, education and training, resources, and events.
