SPECIAL OLYMPICS NOVA SCOTIA – LOCAL IMPACT
Special Olympics Nova Scotia Special Olympics is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing youth programs, year-round sports training, athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with an intellectual disability. Participants develop improved physical fitness and motor skills, self-confidence, and a more positive self-image. Overall, participants make new friends; discover new abilities and skills that will serve them well in day-to-day life.
