Since 1987, Sojourn House has been a lifeline for refugees arriving in Toronto. With record levels of global displacement, more newcomers are arriving in Canada seeking safety, stability, and the chance to rebuild their futures. Sojourn House provides the first safe haven many families experience when they arrive in Toronto. We offer emergency shelter, transitional housing, and wraparound supports that foster dignity, belonging, and community.
Each night, we support 94 single adults and 225 family members. Nearly half are children. Your holiday gift helps ensure that newcomers have a safe first home in Canada and a strong start to their future.
*All donations will receive a tax receipt from Canada Helps. Funds are then directly disbursed to Sojourn House.
