Educonnexion is a community organization working to promote civic action and participation. Since 1976, we work tirelessly to reinforce people and organizations’ power to act within the issues that concern them most, to build a better world.

Our vision:

We believe every individual and collectivity should have the opportunity to develop their full potential. 

We also believe that the tools to make this reality possible and deal with the important social and environmental justice issues are located within our collectivities and that everyone has a part to play in this process. We use education and civic engagement and participation because we are convinced that they lead to uncover solutions and ways to tackle these issues.

Our mission:

Through citizenship education and participation, Educonnexion empowers individuals and organizations to build a more just, cooperative and ecological world.

Our actions:

• Awareness raising and training workshops: We organize workshops for youth and adults, offering the key tools for them to gain an understanding and a sense of direction in order to act and deal with contemporary issues.

• Accompaniment and targeted capacity building: We support educational practices for the participation and impact of organizations and individuals who wish to become agents for multiplying change.

• Social impact projects: We are involved in local and international initiatives that aim to reinforce the civic power to act and public institutions’ capacities in the context of participation and civic education.

More than ever, in order to keep our work and mission going, to meet our objectives, we need your support. Every donation counts and contributes directly to accomplishing our projects and meet our mission based in education.
