About The Smile Company
Smile Theatre is a professional theatre company in Ontario dedicated to performing for senior citizens in care homes.
Since 1972, Smile has been bringing professional musical theatre to seniors in Ontario -- audiences that, because of physical or transportation difficulties, cannot attend regular performances.
Each year, Smile Theatre tours original productions, and brings musical theatre programming to hospitals, long-term care homes, and other seniors’ care homes. The company also offers digital programming through "Smile Online", reaching isolated seniors who are otherwise inaccessible.
