Sit With Me is a Canadian (Ontario and Quebec) foster-based rescue who focuses on the most at risk dogs in local shelters.  Almost every dog that finds placement in foster care with us would have lost out on tomorrow if it were not for our ability to help.  We truly are their last life-saving option.

Our organization is 100% volunteer based and supported by donations.  We do not take in owner surrenders as we are mandated to help those dogs in local shelters who have no one left.  We do however support and offer advice to owners who are looking to responsibly rehome their dogs.

We do not discriminate based on breed, age, lack of manners, medical background or current medical state. Those animals that need us most, those who are in jeopardy of losing their lives due to space or time in a shelter, will be the dogs we seek out for rescue. 

Our dogs receive the vet care, love, exercise and attention they need before being placed up for adoption.  Once they find their forever homes though, we make a promise that our dogs will never be alone again, and should their new home be unable to care for them in the future, we promise to take them back into care.  We love these dogs like they were our very own, and we want to make sure they are never abandoned again.
