This year has been a tough one! Not surprisingly, it's been Shelter Movers Ottawa's busiest year to date (with close to 200 moves completed in this year alone!!). I love the work I am able to do with Shelter Movers - It's tough, but it's truly heartwarming to see the relief in a client's eyes as our volunteers help them move out of an abusive home & into a safe one.
So after this busy and eventful year, I decided to join in on this campaign to bring a little light into my life - but also bring some light to yours as well! I've named my door decor "Santa in an Ottawa snow storm" which seems to be a theme every year around the holidays for poor ol' Santa when he comes to Ottawa.
I'd love for you to vote for my Snowy door! All funds go directly to helping people flee abuse - my goal is $200 as that is the rough cost for SMO to move a family.
