Shaw Festival. A Place for Real Human Encounters.

The Shaw Festival Endowment Foundation was formed in 2003, and is a separately incorporated entity in Canada. The Foundation is a registered charitable organization and a public foundation whose objects are to receive, hold and maintain one or more funds and to transfer from time to time all or part of the income therefrom and the capital thereof for the benefit of the Shaw Festival Theatre, Canada.

The Foundation's funds are used for the long-term support of the Shaw Festival. A portion of the net income earned each year provides The Shaw with a reliable source of revenue for operations, and fosters a wide array of initiatives such as new play development and education programs.
