SHARE THE MAGIC MISSION STATEMENT

To develop partnerships to provide books free of charge to all age groups in traditionally disadvantaged communities throughout Manitoba and create a website which promotes literacy and diversity by ensuring the reading of books of many languages and to work in partnership with grassroots organizations on special projects which support our mission.

About SHARE THE MAGIC BOOK PROGRAM

Share the Magic is a CRA federally registered charity which collects new and gently used books for free distribution to all ages in traditionally disadvantaged communities throughout Manitoba with the goal of

increasing literacy levels. This is accomplished by working with community partners to collect and distribute books through various programs -- book giveaways, donations of classroom, specialty and community library collections and a book pallet program.

To date, Share the Magic has given away over half a million books.
