Our Mission
The SHAID Tree Shelter Society provides temporary care and Shelter to Helpless Animals In Distress, be they abandoned, homeless or relinquished and we attempt to place as many as possible into responsible and caring homes.
About SHAID Tree Animal Shelter
A small independent animal shelter near Bridgewater in the South Shore of Nova Scotia that operates on public donations and fundraisers. Our location address is 950 Mullock Road. Our animals do not have a "time limit" and are welcome to stay with us until we can find suitable homes.
Each year our shelter takes in over 500 animals and finds them loving homes after they have been fixed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and parasites. Cats are also tested for FeLV and dogs are tested for Lyme/anaplasmosis.
