The Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society was established in 1925 as an animal welfare organization, and currently provides animal control services to the City of Sault Ste. Marie and surrounding areas. We are a managed-intake shelter, meaning we help as many animals as we possibly can! We typically help upwards of 1500 animals in need each year - from cats and kittens, dogs and puppies, to birds, bunnies, guniea pigs, reptiles, and more. We give a soft place to land to animals, and help them to find their furever homes through adoption! Thank you for helping to support our mission to save animals.
