From the early "bush planes" to the "Yellow Wing" trainers of WWII, we strive to remember Saskatchewan's aviation pioneers.
The Saskatchewan Aviation Historical Society operating as the Saskatchewan Aviation Museum is a volunteer charitable organization with a mandate to preserve Saskatchewan's rich aviation history and share it with young and old.
Our team of volunteers restore and conserve aircraft and artifacts, to act as technological records of the past and help to keep skills and manufacturing techniques from vanishing.
The museum hosts school tours with teaching modules that complement their curriculum. Adventure and innovation meet in our unique setting where aircraft artifacts and exhibits are used as teaching tools.
The museum is a flight-ready living museum offering flights in our DHC-82 Tiger Moth, Harvard MkIV and Auster in the summer months.
