Saskatchewan Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services Inc.(SDHHS) is a bi-lingual, bi-cultural, non-profit organization which provides a variety of support services and programs for persons living with a hearing loss. Services include sign language interpreting, computerized note-taking, vocational counseling, community service assistance, information and accessibility to many technical aids, ASL classes, assistive and signaling devices and a discount hearing aid battery program. SDHHS has two offices in Saskatchewan, one in Regina and the other in Saskatoon.
The mission of Saskatchewan Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services Inc. is to support the independence of Deaf, Deafened, and Hard of Hearing persons by providing services which enhance their quality of life.
SDHHS has been helping to create a world without barriers for Deaf, Deafened, and Hard of Hearing citizens since 1981.
