Cameron was born and raised in Kelvington, SK before moving to Saskatoon in 2015 to pursue post-secondary education. He is currently the CEO of the Saskatchewan Landlord Association, where he works closely with Saskatchewan’s rental housing providers to improve the state of the province’s rental housing industry. In this role, Cam has seen first-hand how important housing is for the health and wellbeing of individuals and families. Since joining the Association, he has been an outspoken advocate for improving income assistance programs in the province so that low-income people have enough money to survive.
“I’m joining this year’s challenge to highlight the challenges that our most vulnerable neighbors experience in Saskatoon. By doing this, I hope to learn more about these challenges and understand how our housing providers, businesses leaders, and government can create more solutions. It’s time we quit tolerating homelessness in Saskatoon.”
