Our Vision:
A community without judgement where everyone has a safe, affordable home.
We support people in times of crisis and transition through residential, trustee and community outreach programs. To this end, we operate 6 facilities in HRM and provide care & comfort to 106 people each night (this includes but is not limited to: a bed, food, and personal care items.) We offer far more than shelter; utilizing client and housing support workers in tandem with our colleagues working in mental health and addiction services we support over 1,300 people annually.
In 2008, Metro Turning Point and Saint Leonard’s Society of Nova Scotia amalgamated to create Shelter Nova Scotia. Thank you for your support to our organization.
