The Foundation’s sole purpose is to financially assist Rossbrook House in conducting its programs and operations. Gifts made to the Foundation will go directly to supporting the day to day activities and programs for Rossbrook house participants.

About Rossbrook House

In 1976 Sister Geraldine MacNamara and a group of inner city young people created Rossbrook House, a neighbourhood drop-in centre with a simple mission: “No child who does not want to be alone, should ever have to be.” In the decades since, it has become a safe place for children and youth to belong, play, learn and become...

Today, over 1,000 children and youth ages 6-24 years come through the doors annually and up to 80 participants on a daily basis. Beyond being a safe place to be, Rossbrook has three alternative school programs, an after school homework club, young mom’s group, sports and recreational activities, Aboriginal cultural activities, leadership activities, a music program and a healthy kitchen program that provides daily meals to participants while teaching them about healthy eating and cooking.
