Our Mission
The Mission of the District 5550 World Community Services Foundation is to foster goodwill and understanding by helping to raise funds to support international humanitarian service projects.

Ripple Effect Program - Guatemala
Ripple Effect is a Rotary District 5550 program through which Rotarians and other organizations and individuals in Canada can reach out to countries where children’s education is at risk. The program works in partnership with Rotary Clubs and communities in Guatemala to help build, equip and support schools for children in grades K to 6. Your donation to the Ripple Effect Program will help build and/or equip a school in Guatemala.
Ripple Effect Scholarship Fund
The Ripple Effect Scholarship Fund supports the award of scholarships for students attending school in the community of Santo Domingo Xenacoj, Guatemala. The primary objective is to increase the number of students who progress beyond grade 6 to middle school (grades 7-9) and high school (grades 10-12).

Canadian Donor designated donations are tax deductible and eligible to receive a tax receipt from The District 5550 World Community Service Foundation. We will in turn advance the funds to support the designated project.
